SalesEdge.io Update: Instantly Create Opportunities, Companies & Custom Records from Forms—No Contact Needed

We’ve listened to your feedback and are excited to announce a powerful improvement in SalesEdge.io: you can now create opportunities, company records, and even custom records directly from online forms—without needing to collect a contact name, email, or phone number first.

Previously, if you wanted to generate a new deal, company, or other record from a form submission, you had to start by collecting contact information. Now, SalesEdge.io lets you design forms that do much more, with greater flexibility and fewer steps.

What’s New?

  • Opportunity-Only Forms: You can create a form that generates a new opportunity (for example, a quote request or project inquiry) without any contact details required.
  • More Flexible Form Options: Build forms that can create two linked records at once, such as:
    • Opportunity + Company: Perfect for partner registrations
    • Opportunity + Custom Record: For use cases like property viewing requests, where both the deal and property record are created at the same time
    • Company + Custom Record: Useful for commercial lease inquiries that need to record the company and the property
  • Add Object Fields: Easily add fields from Opportunities, Companies, or any custom record type to your form. Remember, “Opportunity Name” is required on forms that create an opportunity.
  • Association Labels: When linking two records, you can assign a relationship label (like “Primary Company” or “Listing”) so your data stays organized and meaningful.
  • Customized Opportunity Settings: Choose which pipeline, stage, status, and value each new opportunity lands in—right from the form builder.

How to Use This Feature

  1. Go to Sites > Forms inside SalesEdge.io. Open an existing form or create a new one, and remove the default contact fields if you don’t need them.
  2. Add object fields by selecting Opportunity, Company, or your custom record. Add the fields you want to capture.
  3. If you want to create a second connected record, simply switch the object type, add those fields, and choose how the two records are linked using an association label.
  4. For opportunities, be sure to fill out the Opportunity Name and adjust settings like pipeline, stage, status, and value as needed.
  5. Save and publish your form. All submissions will appear in your Submissions area and automatically create the records you need—ready to work with, fully linked together.

Why This Matters for Coaches & Small Business Owners

  • No more extra steps or collecting unnecessary info—forms can create exactly the records you need, such as deals, partnership applications, or property listings, all at once.
  • Records are instantly linked with clear relationships, keeping your CRM organized and saving you time.
  • Your form can replace both a contact intake and manual CRM work, making it faster to act on new leads and opportunities.

Pro Tips

  • Be sure to add an "Opportunity Name" field when building forms that create opportunities.
  • The “value” for each new opportunity comes from your selected settings, not from a field in the form. If you want to capture a custom amount, add a field like “Proposal Amount.”
  • Create any specific association labels you need in Settings > Objects > Associations before building your form.
