SalesEdge.io Now Bills Forwarded Emails for Sub-Accounts to Boost Transparency and Control
We’ve made an important update to how forwarded emails are billed in SalesEdge.io. If you or a team member are forwarding emails from your sub-account using LC Email or Mailgun (when it's tied directly to a location), those forwarded messages will now be billed in the same way as outgoing emails.
This change helps ensure fair, consistent pricing—and gives you a clearer picture of how your email usage contributes to your overall costs.
What’s New:
Email Forwarding Now Counts Toward Usage: Each forwarded email from a sub-account will now count toward your email usage and incur a small charge, just like regular sent emails.
Applies To:
Sub-accounts using LC Email, when billing is turned on
Sub-accounts using Mailgun (location-owned)
Improved Billing Clarity: Your billing details will now include:
The type of service that triggered the charge (like LC Email or Mailgun)
A unique ID that helps you track each forwarded email event
Why this matters: This update brings more transparency and control over your communications costs. Whether you're managing your own coaching business or supporting clients through consulting, you'll now have a better understanding of where your email charges come from—so there are no surprises at billing time.
For existing SalesEdge.io users: This update is already live in your account.
