Now Live: Schedule and Publish Community Posts via SalesEdge.io Social Planner Public API

We’re excited to announce a new update that makes community posting even more flexible and efficient for coaches, consultants, and small business owners using SalesEdge.io. You can now connect your Communities to external apps and automate the scheduling and publishing of posts using the SalesEdge.io Social Planner Public API.

This new capability lets you seamlessly create, schedule, and post directly into your Community groups from other tools you use—helping you simplify your workflow and keep your groups active and engaged.

What’s New?

• Easier Member Selection: Retrieve a list of eligible Community members so you can choose exactly who a post will appear as.
• Smart Member Search: Search for members by name and browse through lists, ensuring you only see active and authorized members for each group.
• Accurate Validation: SalesEdge.io checks in real time that your selected member is still permitted to post, helping to prevent errors.
• Flexible Posting: When scheduling through the API, specify which Community member should publish the post, giving you more control over your group's voice.
• Clear Feedback: If a member becomes ineligible before a scheduled post goes live, SalesEdge.io stops the post and notifies you with a clear message, so nothing is published under the wrong identity.

How Does It Work?

1. Connect your Community group inside SalesEdge.io (Marketing → Social Planner → Settings → Social Accounts).
2. Use the API to retrieve your Community account and its eligible members.
3. Select which member should be the author for your post.
4. Create or schedule your post using the Community post API—it’s that simple!
5. Posts are verified again at publish time to make sure the selected member is still authorized.

• API access requires the correct Social Planner permissions.
