New: Website Hosting Detection Now Covers WordPress, Webflow, Wix & More in SalesEdge.io Audits

September 22, 20252 min read

Your Marketing Audit Reports in SalesEdge.io just got a powerful upgrade. You can now detect and display a wider range of website hosting providers—not just WordPress—giving you more flexibility and insight when reviewing your leads’ online presence.

What’s New

  • SalesEdge.io now recognizes multiple hosting platforms, including WordPress, Webflow, Squarespace, Wix, Framer, and SalesEdge’s own LeadConnector pages.

  • This allows for a more comprehensive review of a prospect’s current website setup.

  • By default, WordPress and LeadConnector detection are turned on—but you can customize this based on your preferences.

Sharper, More Insightful Reports

  • The old “WordPress Site” section has been renamed to “Website Hosting.”

  • This section now reflects all selected hosting types, giving a complete picture of where a prospect’s site lives.

  • Clients and prospects will better understand how their hosting choice may affect their SEO, page speed, uptime, and reliability.

Tailored for How You Work

  • Only offer marketing services? You can turn off website hosting detection entirely to keep reports focused.

  • Select which hosting platforms to include, so your audit highlights what matters most to your offer.

  • You can adjust these settings globally from your Prospecting Settings or individually per report using the Sections menu at the top right corner.

Why This Matters

  • If you build websites, this feature helps you quickly identify leads using builders like Wix or Squarespace and position your solution as an upgrade.

  • If your services are platform-agnostic, disabling this section can simplify and streamline your audit reports.

  • No matter what your approach is, you’ll be able to deliver professional, easy-to-understand reports that reflect your brand and strategy.

How to Enable Website Hosting Detection

  1. Navigate to the Labs section in your SalesEdge.io dashboard and enable “Website Hosting Audit.”

  2. To customize at the workspace level, go to Marketing → Prospecting → Settings → Report Settings → Website Hosting.

  3. To remove this section from your audits, head to Settings → Report Settings → Customize Report Layout.

This update gives you greater control over how your reports look and function—so you can focus on what’s most important for your prospects and customers.
