We’re excited to introduce a new way to manage your team’s access to Conversation AI bots in SalesEdge.io. With our latest update, you can now assign specific permissions to team members—giving you greater control over who can view, adjust, or configure your AI bots and their training.
These role-based settings help protect sensitive configurations and ensure that only the right people on your team can make important changes.
What You Can Control:
Conversation AI Bot Access
- Enabled: Lets the user create, edit, or delete bots, and access bot goals and training.
- Disabled: Hides the entire Conversation AI section. The user won’t be able to see or interact with bots at all.Bot Goal Management
- Enabled: Allows editing of bot objectives when updating an existing bot—perfect for shaping how your bots respond.
- Disabled: Limits goal-setting to the initial creation step only. No access to goal edits afterward.Read-Only Bot Goal Permissions
- Enabled: Users can view bot goals and instructions, without changing them. Helpful for oversight without the risk of edits.
- Disabled: Bot goals will only appear during setup, not during reviews or edits.Bot Training Access
- Enabled: Users can attach or remove knowledge bases and view how they impact AI responses.
- Disabled: The training section disappears from their view, and knowledge base details are hidden during conversations.
