Introducing Workflow Maps: Instantly visualize and manage connected automations in SalesEdge.io

What’s new?

You can now use the Workflow Canvas within SalesEdge.io to see an entire automation process—including a workflow and all related workflows—on a single, easy-to-follow map. This lets you trace how your different automations connect, giving you a clear picture of the bigger journey your clients experience.

Why this matters for your business

Coaches and consultants often have client journeys that span several automations. For example, one workflow might tag a new lead, which then launches a follow-up sequence, or automatically puts someone into a booking reminder flow. With Workflow Maps, you can see these interconnections at a glance, making it much easier to understand, troubleshoot, and refine your processes.

How does it work?

  1. Go to Automation > Workflows > Workflow Maps inside your SalesEdge.io account.
  2. Choose any workflow, then open Linked Workflows to instantly reveal related automations.
  3. Explore connections: See all the workflows linked to the one you selected—even across different folders in your account.
  4. Follow the handoffs: Easily track how actions or shared assets move contacts from one automation to another.
  5. Inspect the sequence: Visualize the order and flow of connected workflows to help you fine-tune your processes.
  6. Investigate triggers: Use the map to find out exactly what actions or triggers connect your automations together.
  7. Open the builder: Jump straight into any workflow from the map to make changes and improvements as needed.

Common ways coaches and small businesses can use Workflow Maps:

  • Understand and improve your lead-capture, qualification, and follow-up sequences.
  • See how appointment bookings connect to reminders and post-session follow-ups.
  • Quickly explain or audit a process that spans multiple automations—for yourself or your team.

Additional tips

  • Workflow Maps give you an overview of your whole automation setup, while Workflow Canvas lets you visually track the sequence of connected workflows.
  • If you want to check how a specific client moved through your automations, use contact journeys to review their personal experience.
  • Edit any step directly from the Workflow Builder as you spot opportunities for improvement.
