Introducing Subagents in SalesEdge.io: Boost Workflow Speed & Cut Costs with Smarter Task Automation
We’re excited to announce a powerful new feature designed to help coaches and consultants accomplish more with less effort—Subagents in Managed Agents! This update allows your automation to work as a team, breaking down complex tasks into smaller pieces so everything runs faster, smarter, and more cost-effectively.
What’s New?
- Intelligent Task Delegation: SalesEdge.io Managed Agents can now automatically split big jobs into smaller, focused tasks and delegate them to specialized subagents. Each subagent handles a specific responsibility, while your main agent coordinates the whole process, reviews results, and delivers the final outcome to you—no extra setup needed.
- Automatic Parallel Execution: Independent tasks can now run simultaneously, speeding up your workflows significantly.
- Natural Language Setup: Just tell the AI Builder what you want in plain English, and SalesEdge.io figures out when and how to create subagents for maximum efficiency.
- Lower Cost Automation: With each subagent focused only on its task, your automation uses much less data, keeping your costs down—even as your business grows.
- Complete Visibility: Easily monitor every step your subagents take, including how tasks are split, executed, and completed, all from the Activity and Agent Logs.
- Secure, Controlled Execution: Each subagent gets only the information and permissions it needs, and the main agent checks outgoing customer messages before they’re sent for added peace of mind.
- Seamless Integration: Subagents work across chat, triggers, scheduled runs, follow-ups, and more—fully compatible with your knowledge bases, memory, and existing customizations.
How to Use Subagents
- Go to AI Agents → Agent Studio → Managed in SalesEdge.io.
- Create or open a Managed Agent, then describe what you want it to achieve. The AI Builder decides if subagents are helpful and configures them for you.
- You can also give special instructions, like asking to “Split this task into subagents” or to “Add a subagent to handle calendar operations.”
- Run your agent and use “View subagent activity” to see exactly how your tasks are being handled.
Example: Subagents In Action
Let’s say you want SalesEdge.io to help you follow up with leads every week. Just provide a prompt like:
“Every Monday, identify opportunities that haven’t progressed in the last 14 days, check their recent conversations, and create follow-up tasks for the assigned owners.”
Here’s what happens next:
- Opportunity Subagent: Locates any stalled opportunities.
- Conversation Subagent: Reviews recent client conversations for updates.
- Follow-up Subagent: Creates personalized follow-up tasks for each owner.
- The main Agent brings everything together into a clear weekly summary for you.
Why Does This Matter?
- Handle More Complex Workflows: Break large projects into manageable parts.
- Get Faster Results: Run multiple steps at the same time instead of one after another.
- Lower Your Costs: Use automation resources wisely by letting subagents process only what’s relevant to their part of the job.
- Improve Reliability: Each subagent is focused and specialized, leading to greater accuracy and fewer errors.
- Full Transparency: Always know what your automation is doing and how tasks are progressing.
This means more powerful automation with less manual effort and lower costs—so you can focus on growing your business and helping your clients succeed!
For existing SalesEdge.io users: This update is already live in your account.
